Christie Smith

Christie Graduated as a Physiotherapist from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2013. She has 4 years’ experience specifically in Musculoskeletal and Sports injury Physiotherapy.

Since qualifying, Christie has completed many post graduate courses, some of which at masters level. These range from: lower limb rehabilitation, Hand therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy for people with chronic pain, Acupuncture and Pilates.

Her work experience started out when running her own sports massage business. Over the last four years she has been practicing as an MSK Physiotherapist with various NHS trust including: Bristol, Gloucestershire and now as a Senior Physiotherapist at Homerton University foundation NHS trust. Alongside her NHS work, she has also worked with Worcester warriors Rugby club and currently for the Ladies England Lacrosse team.

Christie’s diverse experience and skill set means she has worked with people from a range of backgrounds such as the older person, occupational injuries, sports injuries and athletes. Her proficiency, comprehensive assessment and treatments, along with her gracious approach, make her a Physiotherapist you will enjoy working with.

Out side of Physiotherapy, Christie likes to keep fit by practicing Brazilian Jutitsu. She is also actively involved with rehabilitation within the humanitarian aid setting.
