Helen discovered the overpowering ability of touch to transform and empower while reviewing spas and treatments during her previous career as a beauty editor for The Sunday Times Style magazine and, having become a massage therapist in 2008, is passionate about imparting this to others. She doesn’t believe a ‘no pain no gain’ approach is necessary for fast, lasting results so, while her bespoke massages relieve pain through deep tissue work, sports stretching and trigger point therapy, these techniques are woven into a caring framework that simultaneously delivers profound relaxation.
Constantly evolving her practice through learning, Helen has trained extensively in remedial techniques for treating persistent pain problems at the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training in Brighton and is one of the first therapists to train with leading aromatherapist Michelle Roques O’Neil in her facial rejuvenation treatments that work to restore vital energy.
Having completed a diploma in Five Element Aromatherapy with the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy in 2015, Helen now offers aromatherapy treatments that work in accordance with Oriental medicine’s Five Element theory to restore harmony on a systemic level for problems as diverse as unsettled emotions, poor digestion, headaches, painful menstruation, dizziness, insomnia and more.
We suggest that you have a 90minute treatment for your 1st Aromatherapy treatment with Helen, in order to fully understand your current level of health and well being.
