Wrisley Magargal

Wrisley Magargal is a registered nutritional therapist practicing applied nutrition based in the functional medicine paradigm. This practice seeks to address the underlying causes of poor health rather focusing on symptoms alone. Seeing Wrisley guarantees a nutrition plan bespoke to you as she believes that one size certainly does not fit all. Your nutrition plan is developed to evolve as symptoms change and improve to ensure you get the right nutrition for your state of health. In addition to your nutrition plan, Wrisley also offers a full dietary analysis of your daily diet.

Originally from the US, Wrisley has worked in a fast paced high stress environment in both New York and London. And after many years of this lifestyle, she retrained as a nutritional therapist earning a BSc (Hons) from the University of Westminster. Having struggled with her own gastrointestinal issues, Wrisley found that changes in what and how she ate combined with stress management radically changed her gut health and overall wellbeing.

Wrisley works with a wide range of clients from weight loss to fatigue and her main areas of interest are in gastrointestinal health, hormone imbalances and postnatal health. She believes that the path to truly feeling well is through a healthy gut and balanced lifestyle.

Nutritional supplements and functional testing may be recommended depending on your nutritional needs and interests.

Wrisley is a registered nutritional therapist with the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

I started seeing Wrisley after almost a year of really, really uncomfortable and tricky to manage GI symptoms – bloating, cramps, pain, irregular bowel activity, coupled with loss of appetite, energy and happiness. I couldn’t work out what was going on – I thought I was eating really well. It turns out I was, but with Wrisley’s help – time, patience and expertise – we worked out that maybe I was just eating the wrong things. Now, I’m well on the way to recovery and have a solid dietary plan to help me manage and alleviate the symptoms. To say I feel better now would be a huge understatement“.
