Davina
Biography
Davina grew up in a very artistic home where she was always encouraged to be creative, either at the family's pottery studio or with the many instruments that were at her fingertips. After completing a foundation course in Art, Davina became fascinated by hairdressing and decided to train to become a Stylist. She loved how engaging and creatively fulfilling it was and her passion for hair was ignited as she worked as a stylist for six years. Once Davina had children, she left the salon floor to be a stay at home mum, still cutting for family and friends from home.
Davina came back to the salon floor after working for a while in retail. She loves the feeling of caring, helping and providing a service that makes people feel great. To Davina that’s what hairdressing is all about. Having now been with Shine for a while and proved herself to be an excellent Stylist, she has recenlty been promoted to Senior Stylist.
Davina still remains in love with art and on her days off is often found at the Tate seeing the latest exhibitions. She also loves music and has been in a few bands that have toured Europe and America. She also loves going to gigs and discovering new music.
Davina works Monday - Friday at Shine.
