Originally from Spain, Marta has been practicing her art for about 20 years across many different countries before settling in London. We feel privileged to have her as one of our Self-employed and highly motivated team.

Alberta (known to us by her nickname Lara) is from Rome, Italy. Passionate about hair since childhood, she started her career at the age of 16 at a beautiful Aveda spa in Rome. She then ventured to Milan and Barcelona to develop and expand her hairdressing repertoire.

Originally from Australia, Kate started her training in Perth in 1989. Once qualified, she gained valuable experience in a Melbourne salon for over 5 years before venturing to London in 1999.

Ernesto started working in the hair industry when he was very young, in his father’s hair salon in central Italy. At 19, he moved to London and joined the Toni & Guy team. Soon after, he was promoted to the role of Creative Art Director and contributed to making Toni & Guy a household name internationally.

Cinnamen moved from Melbourne, Australia to London in 2001. Cinnamen’s has a great passion and knowledge for hair colouring, but also has gained a very loyal following with her hair cut clients. 

Born and raised in South Italy, after gaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Benedetta decided to follow the family business and become a hairdresser.

Alex is one of our Senior Self-employed stylists and has been working in the hair industry for about 25 years. He started his training in Rome in his Uncle’s salon and has since worked in many salons developing his skills before joining our team in 2011.

Sonia has been working at Shine holistic since 2008, she loves working within a holistic centre and as one of our product advisors she values the ethical product options at Shine.

Marius is originally from Romania but after living in Italy for 13 years (his second home) he has decided to make London his home. Marius has always had a passion for hairdressing and barbering.

Joanna's journey into the world of hairdressing began after a traumatic hair cut at the hands of her older sister, determined that this would never happen again, she joined Shine in 2007 as an assistant and completed her training with us in 2011.

Jennifer arrived in London in 2013 from Hungary and started with us as an assistant. She soon fell in love with all things in London and hairdressing. 

Chris moved to London from Brighton at the age of sixteen to pursue his interest in hairdressing. Following his apprenticeship he worked on photo shoots for music and fashion, but found his main interest in salon work.

Anna trained in London and has a degree in cutting and colouring. Anna specialises in classic styling, gents cuts, and all things colour.  Like many of our team, it was the ethos of natural products and the holistic side of Shine that drew her to us and we couldn't be happier.
