Kinesiology
Kinesiology at Shine, N16 London with Gavin Luck - Jones
Kinesiology is a truly holistic approach to health, working with the structural, nutritional, emotional and energetic aspects of the individual.
Kinesiology is for stress, anxiety and emotional trauma; pain and inflammation; migraines; digestive problems; allergies and sensitivities; skin issues; hormonal imbalances; low energy and fatigue; sleep difficulties; immune health and neurodivergence.
Kinesiologists use the science of muscle testing to evaluate motor responses of the central nervous system, helping to identify areas of imbalance and guide the most appropriate treatment.
Treatment draws on a range of techniques, including chiropractic manipulation, emotional release, acupressure, energy healing, lymphatic stimulation and nutritional therapy.
Kinesiology looks at the whole person rather than focusing on a particular symptom in isolation. The body has an innate ability to heal and restore itself, and Kinesiology works to support this natural process.
What to Expect:

- Full consultation to understand your health concerns, symptoms and goals.
- You will then lie down on the treatment couch facing up, you may need to turn over when necessary.
- You will be fully clothed throughout the session, wear comfortable clothes, and supportive underwear if necessary.
- Kinesiology uses muscle response testing as a biofeedback tool.
- Muscle response testing involves holding a muscle, such as an arm or leg, in a specific position while the practitioner applies light pressure to assess its response. The Kinesiologist uses this response to identify areas of imbalance.
- Once muscle response testing identifies areas of imbalance, your session will include a combination of specialist Kinesiology techniques based on those findings.
These include:-> Lymphatic stimulation – rubbing specific areas of the body to stimulate the lymphatic system.
->Energy balancing – including acupressure, meridian work and other specialist energy techniques.
-> Structural techniques – hands-on techniques to support the muscles, joints and physical structure of the body.
-> Nutritional testing – using muscle testing to identify nutritional needs and food sensitivities.
-> Emotional support and release – energetic techniques to support emotional wellbeing and stress relief, which may include talking where appropriate.
Every session is tailored to your individual concerns, goals and the findings from muscle response testing.
